Base Salary
$250k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement granular RBAC across the application.
- Enforce least-privilege policies and document access to PHI.
- Ensure comprehensive audit logs for all PHI access points.
- Integrate audit logs with SIEM for compliance investigations.
- Build infrastructure for per-org retention configurations of PHI.
- Scale intelligent de-identification pipelines for clinical data.
Requirements
- 7+ years in software engineering with 2+ years focused on security, privacy, or compliance.
- Experience owning cross-cutting initiatives and influencing technical direction.
- Strong backend skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Experience building access control systems, audit infrastructure, or data lifecycle pipelines.
- Willingness to work in-person in San Francisco 3x/week.
