Base Salary
$113k - $206k/yr
Responsibilities
- Break down customer problems into executable work for the team and independently complete tasks from start to finish.
- Build and operate agentic workflows that perform multi-step work against production systems and real infrastructure.
- Design guardrails including blast-radius limits, rollback mechanisms, mandatory CI gates, and confidence thresholds for automatic execution versus approval.
- Produce designs for new and existing features and deliver Jamf product components with high quality and reliability.
- Communicate technical concepts across Engineering, Technical Communication, Support, Product, and Cloud teams.
- Mentor and coach other team members while serving as a subject matter expert in Jamf components and offerings.
- Follow security, privacy, ethical, legal, and organizational policies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing enterprise-grade software and at least 5 years of experience with current programming languages and tools relevant to the position.
- Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs and agentic frameworks, including tool calling, multi-step execution, and structured output beyond AI coding assistants.
- Understanding of trust boundaries, blast radius, least privilege, and elevated access held by production automation.
- Understanding of vulnerability management, including severity, exploitability, SLAs, exception handling, and unpatched systems with documented exceptions.
- Experience with enterprise-level software, testing and quality assurance processes, and agile organizations.
- Understanding of build systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
- Apple platform experience.
- An associate degree or two-year degree is required; a four-year bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Relevant combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Preferred: experience with Claude Code or an equivalent repository-scale AI coding agent, including building a trustworthy execution harness.
- Preferred: evaluation and observability for nondeterministic systems, AI governance in a security context, and application performance and load testing.
