Responsibilities
- Assess and migrate SharePoint sites, documents, metadata, permissions, and workflows to SharePoint Online.
- Run migration jobs with ShareGate, Microsoft Migration Manager, or similar tools; review results, correct errors, and validate migrated content.
- Configure and maintain SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists, metadata, views, navigation, and permissions.
- Build and enhance Power Apps and Power Automate workflows for business processes and productivity needs.
- Develop or modify lightweight SharePoint components and integrations using SPFx, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Support discovery workshops, content inventories, migration mapping, testing, cutover preparation, and post-migration support.
- Troubleshoot migration, access, workflow, and application issues, escalating complex problems when needed.
- Prepare technical documentation, test scripts, user guides, and migration status updates.
- Work with users to validate migrated content, gather feedback, and make iterative improvements.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience developing or supporting SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or Power Platform solutions.
- Practical experience with SharePoint Online sites, document libraries, lists, metadata, permissions, and basic administration.
- Hands-on exposure to SharePoint migration, including content assessment, migration execution, validation, or issue remediation.
- Experience building or maintaining Power Apps and Power Automate workflows.
- Basic development skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Ability to troubleshoot systematically, test changes carefully, and produce clear technical and user documentation.
- Ability to clarify requirements with business users and technical team members and deliver practical solutions.
- A proactive, hands-on attitude with willingness to learn, take guidance, own assigned work, and improve through feedback.
- Preferred experience with ShareGate, Microsoft Migration Manager, SharePoint 2013, SharePoint Server, SG-DCS, migration cutovers, user acceptance testing, or post-migration hypercare.
- Preferred familiarity with SPFx, React, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, Microsoft Lists, Forms, Dataverse, Power BI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, records management, retention, access control, and information governance.
- Experience in government, regulated, or security-conscious environments is preferred.
