Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated tests for Android applications across devices and Android OS versions.
- Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing while validating internal lab conformance standards.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
- Conduct root cause analysis and support issue triage discussions with developers and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain test documentation, reports, and compliance records.
- Configure and maintain test devices and lab environments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Android application testing or mobile QA.
- Strong knowledge of Android OS, device fragmentation, and application lifecycle.
- Experience with automation tools such as Appium and Espresso.
- Proficiency with debugging tools such as ADB and Logcat.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Bachelor of Science degree in a related engineering major, such as electrical or computer engineering.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Must already be in Chicago, Illinois, or be willing to relocate at personal cost.
