Base Salary
$100k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and troubleshoot software solutions and secure production code.
- Build and maintain UI and backend/API automation frameworks using sound QA and test engineering practices.
- Perform functional, regression, negative, performance, and test-data validation testing.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure software implementations meet design constraints.
- Analyze large datasets and reporting to identify problems, improve coding hygiene, and enhance system architecture.
- Use and evaluate enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Improve pipeline reliability through flake reduction, test-data strategies, parallelized execution, and observability metrics.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Hands-on QA automation, SDET, or test engineering experience.
- Fluency in at least one of Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Java, including framework design and maintenance and effective debugging.
- Hands-on UI automation and backend/API automation experience.
- Knowledge of functional, regression, negative testing, test design, and core QA practices.
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL for test-data validation and verification.
- Experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to validate and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred qualifications include Playwright or Selenium, JMeter or comparable performance testing, AWS and scalable test execution, and experience improving pipeline reliability.
