Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automated test scripts for Windows desktop applications.
- Build and execute UI automation suites using WinAppDriver, Appium, or similar tools.
- Provision, configure, and manage Azure virtual machines for scalable test execution environments.
- Integrate automated tests into GitHub Actions workflows for continuous integration and testing.
- Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for Windows environment setup and test automation.
- Develop and maintain test cases using pytest or unittest.
- Identify, document, track, reproduce, and help resolve software defects.
- Analyze test results and CI pipeline logs to diagnose failures and flaky tests.
- Participate in code reviews and improve test framework architecture.
- Maintain documentation for test plans, coverage, and framework usage while collaborating with QA, development, and DevOps teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in software testing or test automation.
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting and test automation.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and desktop application behavior.
- Exposure to Azure virtual machines, including provisioning, configuration, and remote access.
- Hands-on or academic exposure to GitHub Actions or similar tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Basic PowerShell scripting ability and familiarity with pytest or unittest, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Strong analytical, debugging, documentation, and written communication skills.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and test output.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with WinAppDriver, Appium, Git, GitHub, software testing methodologies, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Curiosity about applying AI/LLM-based tooling to test automation problems.
