Responsibilities
- Architect and develop autonomous control systems for off-highway vehicles using ROS2 and robotics frameworks.
- Design and optimize C and C++ algorithms for sensor fusion, path planning, and vehicle navigation.
- Integrate LiDAR, cameras, and GNSS/GPS sensor data into perception and navigation systems.
- Travel to customer sites to deploy, fine-tune, validate, and integrate autonomous systems.
- Develop embedded control solutions using Danfoss PLUS+1 GUIDE, CAN bus, and vehicle communication protocols.
- Test, analyze, and improve control algorithms to ensure system reliability, performance, and safety.
- Support compliance with functional safety standards including ISO 13849/25119.
Requirements
- Proven experience architecting and implementing autonomous navigation and control systems using ROS2.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ and experience developing complex, performance-critical algorithms in Linux.
- Understanding of vehicle dynamics, control systems, hydraulics, electronic microcontrollers, and CAN bus protocols.
- Hands-on experience with perception and navigation sensors including LiDAR, cameras, and GNSS/GPS.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and collaborate with customers during onsite implementations.
- Knowledge of agricultural, construction, or mining equipment and off-highway operating environments.
- Understanding of and willingness to develop safety-critical autonomous systems according to functional safety standards.
