Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for prospective clients.
- Develop technical proposals, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and integration strategies.
- Advise customers on data security, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and best practices.
- Support sales strategies, account plans, and activities intended to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
- Provide customer and market feedback to product management to influence product development.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote Varonis solutions and establish thought leadership.
- Build relationships with clients and partners and provide technical support for sales activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales engineering or technical pre-sales focused on cloud computing and cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and cybersecurity principles.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS applications including Microsoft 365 and Salesforce.
- Experience with data security concepts or solutions, IAM, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to travel as needed to support sales activities.
- Client-facing relationship-building skills and the ability to achieve and exceed targets.
- Advanced degree is preferred.
- CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is a plus.
