Responsibilities

  • Lead application systems analysis and programming activities for new and revised application systems.
  • Partner with management teams to integrate functions, define system enhancements, and deploy products and process improvements.
  • Resolve high-impact problems through analysis of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
  • Design applications that adhere to enterprise architecture blueprints and establish coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
  • Manage and implement successful projects while assessing risk and maintaining compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
  • Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
  • Use AI tools for code generation and development, including prompt engineering for AI development assistants.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Deep experience with microservices architecture, design patterns, and development.
  • Expertise in MongoDB or comparable NoSQL databases.
  • Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
  • Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and consulting skills, with the ability to manage pressure, deadlines, and changing requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI development tools and prompt engineering.
