Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance scalable, reliable, and business-critical risk applications within Risk Management Technology.
- Design and implement integrations with Numerix services for PFE and other risk measures across multiple financial products.
- Partner with business users, quants, project managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and architect technical solutions.
- Perform and oversee functional, integration, regression, and non-functional testing through user acceptance and production readiness.
- Own implementation verification, release readiness, production deployment, post-release validation, and ongoing application support.
- Troubleshoot production issues, support users, and develop documentation and assistance tools.
- Provide technical and architectural leadership, mentor engineers, delegate work, manage delivery priorities, and drive project accountability.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications with strong hands-on Python development.
- Strong risk analytics knowledge and experience, including counterparty credit risk domains such as PFE and PE; market risk experience is a plus.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Snowflake, Oracle, or other relational database platforms.
- Experience across AWS services including Amazon EKS, Lambda, EC2, and S3.
- Experience in the financial services industry and knowledge of counterparty credit risk.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Preferred experience with Numerix OneView and/or CrossAsset.
- Experience using Git-based source control repositories and tools such as Bitbucket and SourceTree.
- Experience using Jira across the full development cycle from requirements through deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Java and related enterprise frameworks.
- Strong technical and people leadership, analytical, verbal, written communication, organizational, and proactive follow-up skills.
