Responsibilities
- Lead product engineering teams in threat modeling, secure design reviews, vulnerability assessments, and security testing.
- Integrate security requirements and controls into the product development lifecycle.
- Oversee product security risk assessments and mitigation plans.
- Design and implement product security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Assess and improve security posture across applications, services, and pipelines using an Application Security Posture Management platform.
- Partner with security architecture, application security, cyber defense, product, IT operations, risk, and governance teams.
- Monitor application security incidents and coordinate incident response and remediation.
- Maintain product security architecture, process, and procedure documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive application security experience focused on secure software development practices and techniques.
- Strong understanding of web application vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies, including the OWASP Top 10.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript commonly used in web application development.
- CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, or similar certifications are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Cloud security, containerization, and DevSecOps experience is a plus.
- Experience developing and implementing cybersecurity policies, risk management in regulated environments, cybersecurity regulations and laws, and cyber incident response is a bonus.
