Security Data Engineer

Responsibilities
- Architect and implement log aggregation pipelines for infrastructure and applications.
- Contribute to developing and maintaining a security data lake for centralized security data management.
- Design and implement ETL processes for security data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Collaborate with teams to establish best practices for security data usage, including search functionality.
Requirements
- Familiarity with data lake architectures and security data management best practices.
- Experience with ETL tools and processes for large-scale data environments, including Spark or DuckDB.
- Strong programming skills in one or more general-purpose languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or Scala.
- Production experience with infrastructure as code languages such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or Pulumi.
- Ability to develop and maintain systems in cloud environments and deploy code through CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex projects.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
- Preferred experience building high-volume log ingestion and storage pipelines.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security ecosystems and tooling.
- Preferred experience supporting multiple access patterns for data stored in various formats using tools other than Splunk.
- Preferred experience with open table formats such as Iceberg or Delta Lake.
