Responsibilities
- Perform requirements analysis and develop ECU verification and validation test strategies and specifications.
- Create test scripts, analyze issues, and maintain test documentation.
- Set up ECU test benches for component, integration, and diagnostics testing, including HIL environments.
- Execute ECU functionality tests and automate verification and validation activities.
- Identify defect root causes, report defects, and help resolve issues within specified timelines.
- Plan project activities, collaborate with the team, and independently bring tasks to completion.
Requirements
- BE/BTech degree.
- 6–9 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of automotive system components and ECU testing methodologies.
- Experience setting up ECU test benches, including HIL systems, hardware/software tools, hardware I/O, and sensor and actuator interfaces.
- Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, or comparable analysis tools.
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and diagnostic protocols.
- Expert-level CAPL and basic VTestStudio and Python scripting for automated testing.
- Basic knowledge of VT System and Vector tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, independent execution, and issue-analysis skills.
- Knowledge of model-based development tools such as MATLAB Simulink is advantageous.
