Responsibilities
- Define and execute validation strategies for rack-level firmware stacks across ARM server platforms.
- Develop validation plans, automated test frameworks, and regression pipelines for platform bring-up and firmware lifecycle management.
- Integrate automated firmware validation tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Validate signed firmware updates, redundancy mechanisms, rollback protection, Root of Trust, secure boot, and TPM integration.
- Perform system-level debugging and root cause analysis across firmware, hardware, and platform integration.
- Collaborate with silicon vendors, ODM partners, and platform engineering teams during bring-up and manufacturing ramp.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in firmware or platform validation for server or data center systems.
- Experience validating ARM server firmware stacks, including UEFI/EDK II and OpenBMC.
- Strong understanding of server architecture, power delivery, thermals, networking, and rack infrastructure.
- Experience validating firmware security features, firmware lifecycle management, firmware update frameworks, automation frameworks, and validation pipelines.
- Preferred experience includes rack-scale hyperscale or AI cloud platforms, liquid-cooled or high-density servers, hardware-in-the-loop environments, PCIe, JTAG, GDB, logic analyzers, Redfish, PLDM, MCTP, and IPMI.
