Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to communicate the value of the Okta Platform.
- Build trust with customers across various roles, from practitioners to C-level executives.
- Explain Okta products and identity technology clearly to customers.
- Serve as a primary technical resource for product features and inquiries.
- Promote knowledge sharing and enhance the SE team's expertise.
- Support customers in executing Proof of Concepts to demonstrate value.
- Participate in online or offline events to promote Okta.
- Lead and mentor less experienced sales representatives and SEs.
Requirements
- Experience in customer-facing roles as a Pre-sales SE or Technical Sales.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customer technical staff.
- Native-level Japanese with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to communicate in English via email and conversations.
- Passion for spreading industry-leading solutions.
- Enjoyment in collaborating with Okta's partner community.
- Desire to improve pre-sales skills and become a top-tier Solutions Engineer.
