Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems for digital payment solutions.
- Drive the software development lifecycle and manage complex projects from inception through delivery.
- Shape technical direction, architecture, long-term vision, strategy, and engineering roadmaps.
- Collaborate with security engineers, product managers, and engineering peers on customer-facing solutions and technical designs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.
- Establish software development, documentation, code quality, and delivery best practices.
- Manage feature prioritization, planning, stakeholder communication, and commitment tracking.
- Monitor and operate production services to drive operational excellence.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
