Responsibilities
- Build the core AI platform, APIs, SDKs, orchestration systems, memory layers, and state-management capabilities for agentic use cases.
- Operate the lifecycle of Portkey, Claude, Gemini, Devin, and Glean, including provisioning, deprovisioning, access requests, license hygiene, and technical support workflows.
- Implement and extend Model Context Protocol, Agent-to-Agent communication, and Agentic Resource Definition standards.
- Develop and mature an LLM gateway and access layer for model routing, semantic caching, guardrails, spend limits, rate limiting, and PII controls.
- Implement identity lifecycle management, SSO, RBAC, least privilege, connector approvals, and governance controls in the platform.
- Design, secure, and scale AWS infrastructure for AI systems, including private connectivity, egress controls, and policy-based access.
- Lead platform maintenance, configuration and version management, vendor coordination, renewals, runbooks, support guides, and handoff documentation.
- Partner with Security, IT, Legal, business teams, and engineering departments to resolve issues, align architectures, and reduce tool fragmentation and Shadow AI.
- Facilitate technical design reviews and establish practical, organization-wide AI architecture standards.
- Introduce automated evaluation and testing frameworks and provide centralized visibility into adoption, costs, risks, and reliability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software, platform, or systems administration experience.
- Experience administering or supporting enterprise AI tools, developer tooling, or SaaS platforms, particularly access management, support, and maintenance.
- Hands-on familiarity with agentic architectures, tool-calling, and platforms such as Glean, Gemini, Devin, Claude, and Portkey.
- Strong understanding of SSO, RBAC, least privilege, identity lifecycle management, secure data handling, and secure connector governance.
- Proficiency in modern backend languages such as Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience with technical integrations, observability, monitoring, incident alerting, and service reliability practices.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure for AI systems, including Bedrock, IAM, security, network security, private connectivity, egress controls, and policy-based service access.
- Strong documentation, change management, configuration management, and production support practices.
- Ability to translate technical constraints into practical guidance for technical and non-technical users.
