Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure in AWS.
- Lead Kubernetes architecture and cluster management efforts.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize microservices deployment.
- Define and implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform.
- Drive observability and performance monitoring strategies.
- Champion DevOps culture and mentor engineers on best practices.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Conduct architecture reviews and performance tuning.
- Stay updated with industry trends and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or site reliability engineering roles.
- Strong expertise with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, and RDS.
- Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems architectures.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in languages like Python or Bash.
- Proven experience with monitoring and observability systems.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
- Preferred experience in a high-scale, SaaS or cloud-native environment.
- Familiarity with service meshes and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- AWS Certifications are a plus.
