Responsibilities
- Enhance the developer portal to improve partner engagement and streamline integrations.
- Develop infrastructure for exposing APIs and SDKs to external developers.
- Build and maintain sample applications, SDKs, and technical frameworks for sophisticated partner solutions.
- Provide technical leadership during partner onboarding and guide engineering teams through complex integrations.
- Create proof-of-concept applications and reference architectures demonstrating Lattice capabilities and integration patterns.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to influence the platform roadmap based on implementation challenges.
- Review partner architectures and recommend optimization and scalability improvements.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide hands-on technical support for mission-critical deployments.
- Promote best practices for resilient, secure, and performant Lattice applications.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer with customer-facing responsibilities.
- Strong programming experience in multiple languages, including Python, Java, Go, or C++, with the ability to build production-grade applications.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture, including microservices, event-driven architectures, and API gateway patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience designing and implementing complex system integrations in enterprise environments.
- Experience with REST, gRPC, GraphQL, WebSockets, and message queues.
- Understanding of security patterns, authentication and authorization frameworks, and data protection in distributed systems.
- Ability to communicate complex architectural concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
- Preferred: experience in defense, aerospace, or other mission-critical industries.
- Preferred: background in edge computing, IoT architectures, or real-time data processing systems.
- Preferred: knowledge of air-gapped environments, offline-first architectures, and high-availability system design.
- Preferred: open source contributions to architectural frameworks or developer tools.
- Preferred: experience mentoring engineering teams and leading technical design reviews.
- An advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
