Base Salary

$138k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain secure, high-quality production code.
  • Review and debug code written by other engineers.
  • Build and operate 24x7, tier-1 online services.
  • Drive decisions affecting product design, application functionality, technical operations, and engineering processes.
  • Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more focus areas.
  • Advocate for firmwide software development frameworks, tools, and practices.
  • Use approved AI-assisted development and automation capabilities to improve automation at scale.
  • Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider leading-edge technologies.
  • Contribute to a diverse, inclusive, respectful, and opportunity-focused engineering culture.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
  • Strong hands-on coding and system design skills for modern enterprise systems.
  • Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Rust.
  • A proven track record building and operating 24x7, tier-1 online services.
  • Practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for coding, code review, test acceleration, or troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Ability to independently solve design and functionality problems.
