Base Salary
$174k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML-powered customer solutions.
- Architect and implement enterprise application integrations using Python, JavaScript, APIs, and related technologies.
- Analyze complex datasets to inform solution development and product direction.
- Promote AI-augmented workflow automation in customer environments.
- Manage end-to-end production deployment, evaluation, monitoring, and improvement of AI solutions.
- Address AI risk assessment, data privacy, GDPR, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide cross-functional technical work.
- Communicate technical concepts and create concise artifacts for stakeholders and leadership.
- Align technical solutions with business objectives and establish measurable technological progress.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in backend software development.
- 5+ years of experience delivering impactful AI/ML solutions in production environments.
- Experience as a founding or forward-deployed engineer in 0-to-1 product development.
- Deep expertise in applied AI/ML, generative AI, LLMs, and agent-based frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages, with experience in APIs and enterprise integration.
- Ability to solve complex ambiguous problems and operate in rapidly changing environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Experience with AI risk assessment, data privacy, and compliance such as GDPR.
- Strategic and innovative thinking with a record of connecting technical solutions to business goals.
- Preferred: experience with Atlassian Intelligence, Rovo AI, regulated industries, large-scale production AI deployments, or mentoring and leading engineering teams.
