Responsibilities
- Partner directly with clients to understand workflows, constraints, and goals.
- Turn ambiguous client requests into buildable requirements and technical specifications.
- Build customer-facing full-stack solutions using modern libraries and frameworks.
- Deploy, support, and iterate on solutions in live client environments.
- Feed recurring patterns from client work back into the core product.
- Represent Flagler in technical conversations with non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- A BS in Computer Science or strong demonstrated evidence of engineering ability.
- One to five years of experience is considered, with one to two years acceptable for exceptional learners.
- An impressive portfolio is required and must be shared before the skills interview.
- Full-stack capability beyond JavaScript and TypeScript, including experience with higher-level software libraries.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients.
- Ability to independently understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ability to learn quickly and work through ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Healthcare, digital health, or other regulated-environment experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with LiveKit, Twilio, or the OpenAI API is preferred.
