Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with clients to understand workflows, constraints, and goals.
  • Turn ambiguous client requests into buildable requirements and technical specifications.
  • Build customer-facing full-stack solutions using modern libraries and frameworks.
  • Deploy, support, and iterate on solutions in live client environments.
  • Feed recurring patterns from client work back into the core product.
  • Represent Flagler in technical conversations with non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A BS in Computer Science or strong demonstrated evidence of engineering ability.
  • One to five years of experience is considered, with one to two years acceptable for exceptional learners.
  • An impressive portfolio is required and must be shared before the skills interview.
  • Full-stack capability beyond JavaScript and TypeScript, including experience with higher-level software libraries.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients.
  • Ability to independently understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work through ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Healthcare, digital health, or other regulated-environment experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with LiveKit, Twilio, or the OpenAI API is preferred.
