Base Salary
$280k - $320k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with strategic customers to build production applications using Claude models and meet customer requirements.
- Deliver production technical artifacts such as MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills.
- Provide white-glove deployment support for Anthropic products in enterprise environments.
- Identify and codify repeatable deployment patterns and share insights with Product and Engineering.
- Maintain knowledge of LLM capabilities, implementation patterns, and AI product development stacks.
- Build long-term customer relationships and identify additional AI deployment opportunities throughout engagements.
- Travel to customer sites as needed, with estimated travel of 25% based on location.
- Represent and champion Anthropic’s mission in customer environments.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a technical customer-facing role, Forward Deployed Engineering, or software engineering with consulting experience; technical founders are also encouraged to apply.
- Production experience with LLMs, including advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
- Strong programming skills in Python and ideally one or more additional languages such as TypeScript or Java, with experience shipping production applications.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, collaborate across organizations, balance competing priorities, and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for advancing safe, beneficial AI systems through creative technical applications.
- Experience in financial services, healthcare/life sciences, another enterprise vertical, enterprise IT systems, AI deployment patterns, FDE, or professional services is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field or demonstrated through relevant coursework, training, or professional experience.
