Base Salary
$280k - $320k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build production applications with Claude models inside customer systems while meeting customer requirements.
- Deliver production technical artifacts such as MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills.
- Provide white-glove deployment support for Anthropic products in enterprise environments.
- Identify and codify repeatable deployment patterns and share insights with Product and Engineering teams.
- Maintain current knowledge of LLM capabilities, implementation patterns, and AI product development stacks.
- Build long-term customer relationships and identify additional AI deployment opportunities throughout engagements.
- Travel to customer sites for in-person collaboration when required, estimated at 25% based on location.
- Represent Anthropic’s mission and champion safe, reliable AI in customer environments.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Forward Deployed Engineer or Software Engineer with consulting experience.
- Production experience with LLMs, including advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
- Strong programming skills in Python and ideally one or more additional languages such as TypeScript or Java, with experience shipping production applications.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, collaborate across organizations, balance competing priorities, and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for advancing safe and beneficial AI systems through creative technical applications.
- Background in financial services, healthcare/life sciences, or another enterprise vertical is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise IT systems, AI deployment patterns, FDE work, or professional services is preferred.
