Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Create opportunities with sales, account teams, and partners through working demonstrations and executive engagement.
- Lead customer discovery, business and technical workshops, platform evaluations, architecture sessions, and governance discussions.
- Translate business and IT needs into Statements of Work, scopes, actionable work packages, business cases, and ROI models.
- Build rapid proofs of concept, agentic AI workflows, RAG pipelines, knowledge graphs, data pipelines, and enterprise AI applications.
- Design and deploy solutions using Palantir platforms, AWS services, Rackspace Private Cloud, GPU infrastructure, and customer enterprise systems.
- Develop versioned, observable, auditable, and evaluated prototypes plus reusable demonstration assets and accelerators.
- Document architectures, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and success criteria and remain engaged through delivery mobilization.
- Mentor solution architects and solutions engineers and provide field feedback to platform, product, and partner teams.
- Contribute reference architectures, technical best practices, published writing, and conference or partner-event content.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field; relevant additional experience may substitute at the manager's discretion.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML delivery, including at least four years in customer-facing, presales, or field engineering roles.
- Demonstrated presales or sales engineering experience owning technical wins, delivering demonstrations, and authoring Statements of Work.
- Proven enterprise-scale experience with Palantir Foundry and hands-on experience with Palantir AIP.
- Production experience building and deploying enterprise-scale AI/ML applications.
- Deep full-stack proficiency with Python, plus Node.js or Go, React or Vue, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases, data pipelines, dashboards, RAG, and agent orchestration frameworks.
- Strong Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud-native deployment, and GPU infrastructure experience.
- Experience integrating ERP, CRM, data warehouses, data lakes, and streaming architectures.
- Working knowledge of a hyperscaler's AI and data services, with AWS preferred.
- Ability to produce actionable Statements of Work or Scope Addenda and present to C-suite and technical audiences.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification, or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to travel approximately 25%; the posting also describes travel of up to 50% based on business requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include Palantir certification, an advanced degree, consulting or startup experience, knowledge graphs and semantic modeling, model fine-tuning and distillation, agentic AI, multiple lakehouse and AI platforms, GPU infrastructure, private cloud, industry certifications, regulated-industry experience, and published enterprise AI thought leadership.
