Responsibilities
- Ship user-facing mobile features end-to-end from design handoff through release.
- Build new experiences and improve existing workflows in Thumbtack’s customer- and professional-facing applications.
- Work across iOS and Android when needed, including use of agentic tools and frontier models to accelerate delivery.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and business stakeholders to scope, build, and iterate on features.
- Develop partner integrations and apply Thumbtack capabilities to new verticals and industries.
Requirements
- Fluency with either Android or iOS development.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose on Android, or Swift and SwiftUI on iOS.
- 6+ years of industry software experience, including significant experience building consumer-facing mobile features.
