Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend components and services for content-driven applications and complex client workflows.
- Integrate backend services with Oracle database environments and optimize data exchange and transaction handling.
- Configure and maintain Oracle database instances, including performance tuning, capacity planning, backup, recovery, and issue prevention.
- Develop Oracle schemas, stored procedures, and queries while maintaining data integrity across environments.
- Translate business requirements into backend technical designs and Oracle data models for client onboarding and maintenance processes.
- Implement error handling, logging, monitoring, authentication, authorization, data protection, and audit controls.
- Conduct code and database script reviews and perform unit, integration, and system testing.
- Provide technical guidance on backend development patterns and Oracle database best practices.
- Document system designs, configurations, and operational procedures for backend and Oracle platforms.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and support teams to maintain stable on-premise environments and resolve production issues.
Requirements
- At least eight years of hands-on backend development experience, including component creation, service-layer implementation, and enterprise-system integration.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, performance tuning, and production maintenance.
- Expertise in Oracle database development, including schema design, query optimization, and stored procedure implementation.
- Working knowledge of client onboarding and maintenance processes and the ability to design supporting backend flows and data structures.
- Ability to work effectively in an office-based day-shift environment with product, testing, and operations teams.
- Strong problem-solving and structured troubleshooting skills across backend and Oracle database stacks.
- Clear communication skills for documenting solutions, presenting technical options, and aligning with stakeholders.
