Responsibilities
- Build innovative software solutions and continuously improve the technology offering.
- Write clean, self-documenting Java code and incorporate unit testing.
- Collaborate with Senior Application Architects and technical contributors during application development.
- Resolve application defects identified during system integration and user acceptance testing.
- Deploy scalable, resilient solutions in Kubernetes and Docker containers that interact with legacy and microservice architectures.
- Work with application, messaging, database, web, testing, and DevOps technologies as required by project initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on application development experience with in-depth knowledge of the Java platform and Spring frameworks.
- Experience with microservices and layered SOA/MVC architecture in on-premises and cloud environments, including AWS.
- Extensive experience with Java Core and Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, JMS, and Tomcat.
- Expertise deploying scalable, highly resilient solutions in Kubernetes and Docker containers.
- Experience with Angular or equivalent UI/UX technologies.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, and Sonar.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON, REST, and SOAP.
- Experience with Jasmine/Karma, JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, and Mockito.
- Experience with integration patterns and messaging technologies including MQ, Solace, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
- Extensive experience with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and performance tuning.
- Strong problem-solving, creative-thinking, organizational, leadership, flexibility, and continuous-improvement skills.
