Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of scalable full-stack solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.
Advocate for the team's technical needs within the engineering organization.
Participate in product discovery sessions to define features and validate ideas.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create engaging user interfaces.
Work with other engineering teams for seamless integration.
Contribute to the vision for the team and platform as a technical leader.
Break down complex projects into actionable tasks.
Implement observability practices for system reliability.
Elevate engineering standards by improving workflows and tools.
Analyze performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Conduct code reviews and contribute to knowledge-sharing.
Identify performance bottlenecks and propose enhancements.
Stay updated with industry trends and propose innovative solutions.
Assist with interviews and onboarding of new engineers.
Model a culture of open communication and continuous improvement.

7+ years as a software engineer with production code experience.
3+ years of experience in back end distributed system design.
3+ years of experience with microservice architectures.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Deep eCommerce experience is preferred.
Proven experience in building scalable web applications.
Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
Strong experience developing React Native applications for iOS and Android.
Proficiency with full stack delivery on Kubernetes and AWS.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Experience with agile software development methodologies.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and testing.
Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects without management oversight.
