Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and user workflows for Pega Cloud front-end applications.
- Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, performance, cross-browser, and cross-device testing.
- Validate applications across Pega Cloud environments and deployment pipelines.
- Build and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and TestNG.
- Analyze automation reports and provide actionable feedback.
- Test REST APIs using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
- Identify, track, retest, and troubleshoot defects using Jira and Zephyr.
- Collaborate with developers, Pega architects, and cloud engineers on defects and environment issues.
- Contribute to test strategy, quality standards, automation practices, shift-left testing, and early defect detection.
- Participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with REST APIs and web automation using Selenium, Java, TestNG, and Postman.
- Extensive knowledge of the DOM and POM model.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong experience with Jira as a test management tool.
- Solid understanding of Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and automated pipelines.
- Experience with Git and GitHub Actions.
- Experience working on Agile projects and familiarity with SAFe methodologies.
- Experience with banking and financial services domains such as KYC, CRM, or insurance.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Nice-to-have familiarity with Confluence and Pega Cloud deployment models, environments, and guardrails.
