Responsibilities
- Develop Salesforce services including referral and promotion systems, automation and alerts, email services, custom Lightning and Visualforce pages, and products across Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Shape platforms for Customer Service, Marketing, and Operations teams and build standalone Salesforce products integrated with J.P. Morgan Personal Investing services.
- Develop and optimize Apex, SOQL, SOSL, and DML operations, including asynchronous Apex and SOQL query optimization.
- Build REST integrations and integration patterns with external services and applications such as Amazon Connect and Salesforce Scheduler.
- Apply testing methodologies, integration testing, migration tools, and automated testing practices.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Promote responsible AI use, secure handling of sensitive data, resiliency, and effective team practices.
Requirements
- At least Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required.
- Experience with the Force.com platform, including asynchronous Apex, and development for Salesforce Service Cloud and Sales Cloud.
- Experience with SOQL, SOSL, DML operations, query optimization, REST integrations, migration tools, and Lightning Web Components.
- Experience with testing methodologies, testing frameworks, integration testing, and Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.
- Understanding of clean architecture in object-oriented programming and a strong commitment to clean, maintainable, highly testable code.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI engineering practices, including data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred: multiple Salesforce certifications, integration experience including backend APIs or Amazon Connect, MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle experience, full-stack Salesforce development, Marketing Cloud experience, and experience with different integration patterns.
