Responsibilities
- Lead major product surfaces and services from design through production operations.
- Define problems, MVP scope, success metrics, priorities, and delivery outcomes in ambiguous environments.
- Build and ship software using AI-native practices across planning, implementation, testing, review, debugging, and operations.
- Measure and improve engineering delivery metrics, quality, testing, observability, and release practices.
- Make architecture decisions that balance speed, maintainability, and scalability.
- Partner with Product, Design, customers, and platform teams to prioritize and ship valuable increments.
- Mentor engineers and help establish a high-trust, high-ownership engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of software development experience, including ownership of production product capabilities.
- Demonstrated heavy AI-native delivery across the software development lifecycle with maintained or improved quality.
- Strong engineering judgment and ability to simplify problems while building scalable solutions.
- Experience building cloud-native services and/or modern user experiences that scale.
- Ability to work across product, design, customers, and platform dependencies.
- Product judgment to frame problems, define MVP scope, make trade-offs, and drive measurable customer outcomes.
- Preferred: startup or internal incubation experience.
- Preferred: experience integrating AI or LLM capabilities into product experiences responsibly.
- Preferred: technical leadership that accelerates teams and experience in PM-light environments.
