Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, maintain, debug, and release real-time embedded firmware in C/C++ for resource-constrained wireless systems.
  • Own complex firmware features from design through implementation, debugging, and production release.
  • Develop timing-critical, performance-sensitive code optimized for memory, power, and CPU constraints.
  • Debug system-level issues involving firmware, hardware, and protocol interactions.
  • Contribute to multi-protocol and wireless coexistence solutions.
  • Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and product qualification activities.
  • Collaborate with systems, PHY/RF, validation, and customer-facing engineering teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on embedded firmware development experience with deep proficiency in C/C++.
  • Strong understanding of real-time systems, interrupts, concurrency, and low-level hardware interactions.
  • Experience building memory- and power-optimized embedded software.
  • Strong debugging skills using hardware and software tools such as JTAG, trace, logs, and protocol analyzers.
  • Ability to independently drive technical solutions and make sound design decisions.
  • Experience delivering embedded software products from concept through production.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 to 10 years of industry experience in embedded firmware or systems-level software development.
  • Bluetooth Classic or Bluetooth Low Energy experience is preferred.
  • Bluetooth audio use cases, Bluetooth controller architectures, wireless protocol stacks, wireless coexistence, and multi-protocol systems experience are preferred.
  • Familiarity with automation, scripting, CI practices, and GenAI-assisted development tools is preferred.
