Responsibilities
- Design, build, integrate, optimize, and maintain production generative AI applications and scalable AI services.
- Develop prompt-engineering solutions, model integrations, conversational AI systems, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines.
- Write code and scripts for infrastructure automation, monitoring, test cases, destructive testing, and reliable AI deployment.
- Create dashboards, logging, alerting, and operational responses to proactively identify production issues.
- Collaborate with UX, engineering, product management, infrastructure, business, and support teams to deliver secure and scalable machine learning solutions.
- Provide production application support and monitor service levels, performance, capacity, data, message processing, and prediction quality.
- Review code and prompt implementations and provide feedback based on engineering and responsible AI practices.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age and legally permitted to work in the United States.
- High school diploma and/or GED.
- At least 2 years of work experience; 3–5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Experience with Python, modern AI development frameworks, generative AI applications, LLMs, prompt engineering, and prompt evaluation.
- Experience integrating AI models through Google, OpenAI, or Anthropic APIs and using frameworks such as Google Agent Development Kit.
- Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, conversational AI, responsible AI, graph databases, knowledge ingestion, and data mesh architectures.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Vertex AI, BigQueryML, BigQuery, Data Store, data engineering, CI/CD, monitoring, and automated workflows.
- Experience with GPU acceleration using CUDA and cuDNN.
- Experience with Node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, D3, and SQL queries against relational databases.
- Familiarity with production systems design, cloud automation, machine learning services, defensive coding, A/B testing, scalable web services, NLP, convolutional neural networks, autoencoders, and embeddings.
