Base Salary
$215k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS and GCP infrastructure as code with Terraform while optimizing reliability, security, and cost.
- Run and evolve EKS/GKE platforms, including cluster upgrades, Envoy/Gloo networking, Helm, and ArgoCD delivery.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows using GitHub Actions, monorepo tooling, and JFrog Artifactory.
- Maintain backend golden templates and shared libraries used across the engineering organization.
- Plan and execute observability, data-store, Kubernetes, and multi-account migrations with rollback strategies.
- Own Datadog observability and on-call operations, remediate CVEs, manage secrets and access controls, and optimize cloud costs.
- Enable AI/ML developer tooling, lead design and code reviews, establish technical standards, mentor engineers, and partner with other teams.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep hands-on AWS experience and ideally GCP experience, including EKS/GKE, Lambda, networking, IAM, S3, Kinesis, OpenSearch, and Route 53.
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps, ArgoCD, and CI/CD pipelines in monorepo or multi-service environments.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog for metrics, logs, traces, and alerting, plus production support, on-call, and distributed-systems debugging.
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, TypeScript, Python, or Go, with scripting and SQL experience.
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, lead through influence, and mentor engineers.
- Helpful qualifications include experience with Cloudflare, Envoy/Gloo, Kinesis, Flink, Redis/Valkey, Confluent/Kafka, Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, LLM-based developer workflows, security and compliance, change and incident management, and GCP Workload Identity Federation.
