Base Salary
$215k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS and GCP infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Operate and evolve EKS and GKE Kubernetes platforms, including cluster upgrades, networking, Helm, and ArgoCD delivery.
- Build CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, backend golden templates, and shared engineering libraries.
- Lead observability, data-store, Kubernetes, and multi-account platform migrations, including rollback planning.
- Manage Datadog observability, on-call operations, CVE remediation, secrets, access controls, and cloud-cost optimization.
- Enable AI/ML developer tooling and contribute to technical standards, design reviews, code reviews, and engineer mentoring.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, platform, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep hands-on AWS experience and ideally GCP experience, including EKS/GKE, Lambda, networking, IAM, S3, Kinesis, OpenSearch, and Route53, managed with Terraform.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and CI/CD pipelines in monorepo or multi-service environments.
- Experience with observability for metrics, logs, traces, and alerting, as well as production support, on-call, and distributed-systems debugging.
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, TypeScript, Python, or Go, with comfort using scripting and SQL.
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, lead through influence, and mentor engineers.
- Helpful experience includes Cloudflare, Envoy/Gloo, Kinesis, Flink, Redis/Valkey, Confluent/Kafka, Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, LLM-based developer workflows, security and compliance, incident management, and AWS–GCP integrations.
