Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Support production systems, resolve incidents, and troubleshoot issues.
- Contribute to system architecture with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Participate in CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and other software development lifecycle activities.
- Maintain technical documentation and improve engineering practices.
- Act as a technical subject-matter expert for application and support topics.
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers.
Requirements
- Advanced English speaking and writing skills.
- Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices, and SQL databases including PostgreSQL and Oracle.
- Familiarity with React, MQ/Solace, Redis, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, Maven or Gradle, and DevOps tooling.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Splunk, Prometheus, and Jenkins.
- Understanding of application security and testing practices.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across distributed teams.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks end-to-end, and remain customer-oriented.
