Responsibilities
- Identify strategic opportunities in AI infrastructure and AI applications and provide technical expertise to embed F5 technology.
- Partner with AI Sales to discover customer opportunities and recommend solutions addressing business needs.
- Act as an AI evangelist, thought leader, trusted customer advisor, and champion for customer requirements.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and internal business leaders to identify customer pain points, trends, and appropriate F5 solutions.
- Advocate customer use cases and field insights to Product Management and Services teams.
- Provide technical and business feedback on product design, architecture, launches, and updates.
- Mentor the Solution Engineering community and educate internal and external audiences through whitepapers, training, blogs, tech tips, and presentations.
- Deliver business-outcome-focused demonstrations and presentations to technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of related industry experience.
- Experience as an AI evangelist, thought leader, and mentor.
- Experience with strategic business opportunities and AI best practices, technology landscapes, and ecosystems.
- Knowledge of AI application architectures and components, including large language models, orchestrators, agents, and tools.
- Knowledge of AI infrastructure, data center network designs, east-west and north-south architectures, and AI Factory reference architectures; NVIDIA reference architecture knowledge is preferred.
- Knowledge of the AI application security ecosystem and its challenges.
- Knowledge of storage technologies and architectures for efficient data delivery supporting AI training, fine-tuning, and inference.
- Advanced use of AI tools for content search, analysis, generation, task automation, and potentially vibe coding.
- Knowledge of cloud-native application design patterns, including Kubernetes, APIs, microservices, and service mesh.
- Advanced knowledge of business-outcome-focused architecture, engineering, and operations practices.
- Ability to communicate and present technical concepts effectively to executives and business leaders.
- Extensive experience delivering business-driven solution demonstrations and presentations.
- Experience speaking at industry or customer events and publishing whitepapers, solution articles, blogs, and technical tips.
- Deep knowledge of F5 solutions.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel as required.
