Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional team of software engineers, data scientists and specialists delivering generative AI solutions.
- Guide the design, architecture and production delivery of scalable, reliable and maintainable AI-powered systems.
- Set technical direction and optimize GenAI applications for accuracy, performance, cost and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, business partners and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Establish best practices covering testing, guardrails, responsible AI, monitoring and documentation.
- Review designs and code, provide architectural guidance, and mentor engineers across the team.
- Lead decisions about model tuning, fine-tuning and adaptation when required.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Python and modern software engineering practices, including testing, version control, CI/CD and system reliability.
- Proven ability to design and integrate scalable, maintainable and performant end-to-end AI systems.
- Deep experience with generative AI and agentic frameworks.
- Expertise building and scaling RAG pipelines and integrating vector databases into production systems.
- Experience deploying AI solutions on major cloud platforms using containers and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with LLMOps and monitoring production systems with observability tools.
- Experience with fine-tuning, model adaptation and advanced machine learning and natural language processing frameworks.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence senior decision-makers.
- Proven ability to inspire, mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams.
- Ability to anticipate technology trends and shape technical direction across teams and stakeholders.
- Must be a Singapore Citizen because of project-specific security clearance requirements.
