Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements using AI tools and develop and configure AEM components with Sling Models, OSGi, HTL, and Java.
- Apply AI-generated test cases and AI-assisted debugging while validating all generated outputs and owning software quality.
- Participate in AEM content modeling, taxonomy planning, MSM activities, third-party API integrations, and DAM integrations.
- Use AEM-specific prompt engineering for component generation, OSGi configuration, and code review, and contribute reusable prompts.
- Work with AEM as a Cloud Service, Cloud Manager pipelines, and cloud-native OSGi deployment patterns.
- Support AEM Edge Delivery Services document-based authoring and block development.
- Collaborate with architects and other teams to translate business needs and designs into working implementations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience is required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager Sites development and hands-on AEM component development.
- Experience with HTL/Sightly, Sling Models, OSGi/Felix, Java, JavaScript, and Python.
- Familiarity with AEM as a Cloud Service, Cloud Manager pipelines, and cloud-native deployment patterns.
- Basic awareness of AEM Edge Delivery Services, document-based authoring, and block development.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot and Claude in daily AEM development.
- Direct experience calling LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic, including understanding token, latency, and cost trade-offs.
- Knowledge of Adobe platform developer APIs including AEM, Firefly, AEP, and AJO.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related field is stated, along with a required 15-year full-time education background.
- Equivalent experience demonstrated through client projects, internships, or significant personal or open-source projects may qualify for the AEM experience requirement.
