Base Salary
$137k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core services, APIs, workflows, and partner integrations.
- Own features end-to-end from technical design through production support.
- Translate business needs into well-architected technical solutions with internal and external partner teams.
- Contribute to system design, service architecture, technical debt reduction, and engineering best practices.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Mentor and support other engineers through pairing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to operational excellence.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience working on production systems.
- Strong experience building backend services and APIs in Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to own features and services with minimal oversight.
- Understanding of data modeling, performance, and system reliability.
- Strong communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
- A pragmatic, product-minded approach to engineering.
