Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using NestJS and Prisma ORM.
- Build and enhance frontend applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Develop maintainable APIs and UI components and ensure frontend-backend integration.
- Contribute to architecture decisions for scalable, reliable, and secure systems.
- Use PostgreSQL and Redis for data, caching, and session management.
- Implement authentication and authorization with OAuth2 and JWT.
- Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, code quality, and observability.
- Implement backend, frontend, and end-to-end automated testing using Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
- Use OpenTelemetry for monitoring and observability.
- Use LaunchDarkly or OpenFeature for feature releases and controlled experimentation.
- Collaborate with product managers, design teams, platform and DevOps teams, and external partners.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and maintain technical documentation.
- Promote reusable patterns, best practices, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and automation across the development lifecycle.
- Use AI-assisted development tools, MCP integration, prompt/version management, and secure AI-tool usage practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong full-stack development experience across backend and frontend systems.
- Experience with NestJS, Prisma ORM, PostgreSQL, Redis, Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Experience with TanStack Query, Form, and Table, Zod, and Axios.
- Experience with Playwright, Jest, React Testing Library, ESLint, Prettier, and Husky.
- Knowledge of OAuth2 and JWT authentication, scalable system design, and architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams and stakeholders.
- Hands-on knowledge of Claude and/or Cursor, MCP integration, GitHub Copilot or equivalent, prompt/version management, and secure AI-tool usage.
- AWS-based environment experience is preferred.
- Exposure to feature experimentation and A/B testing frameworks is preferred.
- Understanding of domain-driven design or product-centric development is preferred.
- Experience in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments is preferred.
