Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-scale, secure infrastructure.
- Own a portion of the infrastructure roadmap and improve infrastructure operational efficiency.
- Enhance infrastructure security and drive organization-wide information security and compliance programs such as ISO and SOC 2.
- Design and operate scalable distributed technologies and automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Establish CI/CD, centralized logging, monitoring, and observability platforms to improve reliability.
- Research methods to reduce cloud costs.
- Design and conduct business continuity planning and disaster recovery dry-runs.
- Monitor critical metrics, reduce incident reaction time, and track resilience, performance, and availability SLAs.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or a related engineering or science field.
- 3–6 years of experience running high-scale cloud infrastructure.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Shell scripting, Python, and Ansible.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with deployment automation, CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Maven, and GitLab, and monitoring tools including Prometheus, Datadog, and Sentry.
- Knowledge of databases, distributed technologies such as Kafka and Elasticsearch, JVMs, web servers such as Nginx, proxies such as HAProxy, and Kubernetes.
- B2B software experience is preferred.
- Experience gathering, translating, and prioritizing customer requirements and defining product roadmaps.
- Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills.
