Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
- Design, implement, and execute automated tests for software quality.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and improve software.
- Improve testing frameworks and processes.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure regression testing coverage for all releases.
- Support verification and validation of features for the Autonomous Drills System.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electronics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience guiding software development teams.
- Strong understanding of autonomy application and embedded software testing.
- Proficiency with Python, Selenium, PyTest, Jenkins, Git, SQL, and Linux.
- Experience with test automation, API testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment practices.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Preferred: system-level understanding of Caterpillar machines and experience with machine control, robotics, guidance systems, industrial safety, or field deployment.
