Responsibilities
- Support business analysts in customer meetings, discovery, and solution design.
- Analyze business requirements and propose technical solution options, including functional and non-functional considerations.
- Design technical architectures, prepare high-level customer designs, and create technical documentation for development teams.
- Support project managers and scrum masters with high-level estimates and validate delivery against scope, quality, and timelines.
- Collaborate on roadmap planning and work closely with development teams during design and implementation.
- Interface with third-party infrastructure teams on platform analysis, optimization, and high-level issue triage.
- Perform technical governance and code reviews while supporting secure coding practices and effective use of CI/CD and AI coding assistance.
- Use AI tools for research, solution identification, documentation, and clear technical prompting.
- Provide leadership, line management, mentoring, and technical support for lead developers.
Requirements
- Commercial experience with either HTML/JavaScript or Java across the full software development lifecycle.
- Strong technical background building web applications with Java/JEE, Spring, XML, Maven, and Tomcat.
- Experience with technical architecture, requirements capture, software design, project estimation, code review, and technical documentation.
- Experience integrating multiple systems and APIs, including building and consuming microservices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum organizations.
- Experience managing and mentoring employees, with strong written, oral, logical, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of effective AI tool usage, including the limitations of AI and the ability to write clear, unambiguous prompts.
- Strong CSS, HTML, and JavaScript experience is desirable.
- Experience with business rules management systems or content management systems, particularly Adobe AEM, is desirable.
