$202k - $318k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy and architecture across Rovo Chat, Rovo Search, Growth, and Rovo Apps & Clients.
- Create shared capabilities that converge Search and Chat and support information retrieval, contextual understanding, multi-step interactions, and actions.
- Build reusable experience foundations across Atlassian products and connected third-party tools.
- Partner with product, design, data science, machine learning, and engineering leaders on the Rovo roadmap.
- Create technical foundations for experimentation, contextual activation, personalization, measurement, and continuous improvement.
- Lead complex cross-organizational initiatives and manage technical negotiations and dependencies.
- Improve quality, performance, trust, and operational excellence across customer-facing Rovo experiences.
- Standardize and mechanize the development and deployment of AI experiences.
- Mentor senior engineers and promote technical excellence, inclusive collaboration, and continuous learning.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in platform and product engineering at scale.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across teams.
- Deep product engineering experience, ideally in platform environments at scale.
- Full-stack experience preferred, or strong back-end skills with front-end capability.
- Experience architecting, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems and user-facing applications.
- Strong product mindset and UX sensibility.
- Experience leading multi-year, cross-organizational technical initiatives that drive business outcomes.
- Commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and inclusive, high-performing engineering environments.
