Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services for payment processing, reconciliation, payouts, fee calculation, settlements, and B2B client dashboards.
- Build resilient microservices integrations and asynchronous workflows using idempotency, outbox/inbox, sagas, retries, and deduplication.
- Meet performance and reliability targets, including p95/p99 latency and SLA/SLO objectives, and set up monitoring and alerting.
- Deliver tasks with AI agents, validate generated code, add tests, and fix defects.
- Review code, maintain specifications, and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience with C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Experience designing microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, Docker, AKS, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, and Cosmos DB.
- Practical experience delivering work with AI tools or agents from task definition through a working result, with the ability to understand and explain all shipped code.
- Ability to produce clean, maintainable code with tests and take ownership of results.
- Payments or banking experience, spec-driven development, product or startup experience, mentoring, or technical leadership are nice to have.
