Base Salary
$140k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and deliver customer-facing features end to end across frontend and backend systems.
- Partner with Customer Success and Product to convert customer requests and bug reports into released features.
- Work across Sift products and technology areas including Payments, Account Takeover, Dispute Management, Console, Workflows, and the API.
- Contribute to backend services using Ruby on Rails, Java, and other technologies in the stack.
- Maintain engineering tooling and practices that support reliable delivery.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience building React applications with React, React Query, and React Router.
- Have familiarity with frontend testing tools such as Jest and Cypress.
- Have at least one year of backend development experience in any language.
- Be willing to learn and work with Ruby on Rails and Java; prior experience with Sift’s specific backend stack is not required.
- Demonstrate customer focus, results orientation, adaptability across products and codebases, strong communication, and collaboration.
- Have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- The role is open to junior and mid-level engineers, with strong React experience as the primary qualification.
