Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain JavaScript services, scripts, cloud functions, internal libraries, utilities, products, and services.
Deliver new and updated features for Paradox game studios, publishing teams, employees, and internal tools.
Provide technical expertise to support product roadmap definition and refinement.
Collaborate with the Technical Leader and team members to deliver committed tasks and resolve product backlog stories.
Provide internal support for team services and help Product Management understand technical requirements.
Synchronize daily with the Technical Lead and report progress on committed tasks.
Collaborate with management to align expectations with Paradox’s expectations and values.

Experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript, including ES2018 or later.
Experience with SQL and non-relational databases such as DynamoDB.
Experience running services on cloud providers such as AWS or GCP.
Experience with containers or containerized setups.
Understanding of data caching, backend APIs, CRUD, and authentication standards including OIDC and OAuth.
Experience writing unit and/or integration tests using standard libraries.
Understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies.
Excellent English communication skills and a service-minded approach.
Supplementary experience with C++, C#, TypeScript, React, Go, Python, Terraform, or distributed non-monolithic systems.
