Responsibilities
- Build automated joiner, mover, and leaver workflows connecting Humaans, Okta, application access, device enrollment, access revocation, and hardware recovery.
- Create a Slack-based assistant and coding-agent workflows that resolve common employee IT requests or route them appropriately.
- Build and operate a hardware vending machine for chargers, dongles, headsets, and loan laptops with automated inventory replenishment.
- Write scripts and infrastructure as code to configure devices, enforce security baselines, and generate compliance evidence.
- Own the employee platform end to end, including identity, access, devices, onboarding, offboarding, internal tooling, and physical office hardware.
- Deliver zero-touch onboarding, self-service employee IT, automated lifecycle management, and audit-ready fleet operations.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to write real code and automate through APIs and scripts using Python, Bash, or TypeScript.
- Systems-oriented understanding of identity, access, data flows, and employee lifecycle management.
- Comfort using AI coding agents to build and ship tooling quickly.
- Strong focus on security and implementing systems correctly.
- Willingness to work on-site in Edinburgh and handle physical hardware.
- Experience or exposure to identity and device tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, or Jamf is a bonus.
- Experience with SOC 2 or security compliance is a bonus.
- Prior experience automating onboarding, endpoints, or internal tools is a bonus.
