Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic technical advisor to automotive-sector sales teams and prospective customers.
- Lead technical strategy for AWS-focused presales cycles and contribute solution designs for proposals, RFPs, and SOWs.
- Provide resource, cost, and timeline estimates for proposed solutions.
- Run customer discovery sessions, technical workshops, proofs of concept, and assessments.
- Design scalable AWS cloud-native and AI-enabled architectures tailored to automotive customer needs.
- Deliver demos and presentations highlighting AWS services and partner capabilities.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure AWS architectures are implemented as designed.
- Manage multiple AWS-driven sales cycles independently and lead short-term consulting engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in presales, technology consulting, or solutions architecture.
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud experience and 3+ years specifically with AWS.
- Strong experience designing AWS architectures involving infrastructure, EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, Glue, Athena, Kinesis, IoT, and related cloud services.
- Presales or consulting experience supporting automotive customers such as OEMs, Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers, or mobility providers.
- Strong understanding of software-defined vehicles, connected vehicles, manufacturing operations, supply chain, and quality.
- Ability to communicate AWS architectures clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
- Experience leading short-term AWS consulting or proof-of-concept engagements.
- Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification, experience with Tier-1 suppliers, ISVs, and automotive ecosystem partners, Terraform familiarity, AWS development or prototyping experience, and Korean bilingual ability.
