Base Salary
$170k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust applications and APIs using Java and Python.
- Design and implement APIs and microservices, including third-party API and service integrations.
- Manage data storage and retrieval using SQL and NoSQL database systems.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, QA teams, and other cross-functional partners.
- Optimize application and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply security best practices for data handling and API authentication.
- Integrate cloud services and APIs when applicable, including AWS and Azure services.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing applications and APIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience.
- Active Secret security clearance or higher, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python and associated frameworks such as Spring Boot, Flask, or Django.
- Strong understanding of API architectural styles and experience with API development tools such as Postman and Swagger UI.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database systems.
- Experience with Git.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to solve problems and work independently and collaboratively.
